Drop in workshop at the Affordable Art Fair with NSPCC
This weekend I ran my second family drop-in session at the Affordable Art Fair on behalf of the event's charity partner, NSPCC. Children and their carers had the chance to paint or draw their own card based on something they had seen that day at the art fair. There were lots of lovely images of the park outside and some great mark making by the youngest artists! It was great to see every enjoying themselves with a bit of Sunday afternoon creativity. #education #dropin #family

Urban Boxes Workshop
This Saturday saw a cardboard metropolis emerge at the Hive in Haggerston. Children and their families used recyclable materials such as cardboard boxes and plastic bottles to build their own imaginary city in the middle of the gallery space. With the help of some paint, pipe cleaners and glitter they transformed the empty spaces of the boxes into skate parks, churches, swimming pools and fountains, reflecting the principals of urban regeneration at the centre of the Hive. #w
